QuASM or ‘HOW TO MAKE QUESTIONS’

QuASM is a simple formula that works for asking questions in almost ALL verb tenses! :

  • Qu –Question word (Wh / How)question-words
  • A   – Auxiliary verb
  • S   – Subject
  • M – Main verb

Do you remember how many types of questions you have in English?

  • Yes / No questions
  • Wh / How questions
  • Subject / Object questions

To celebrate WORLD OCTOPUS DAY you have to come up with, at least!, ten questions based on the above infographic. You must include yes/no, Wh / How and subject questions. Don’t forget to provide a correct answer for all those questions!

ECA_Roller_Europe_DayWe will be celebrating it this week; this is why you are going to do the following activities:

  1. Take your worksheet, click on this link and try to answer all the questions.
  2. Play this online game. Don’t forget to register your time!  (Please, use your blog’s name!)You might also want to have a look at this book.
  3. Write a post on your blog about this day. Explain why you think we should celebrate it. You can upload pictures, a video, a poster, a wordle o whatever you find interesting!
